Internet drops connection.
This is not the first time that the connection has dropped around this time. Is there something going on the network from Fizz/Videotron at this time in my area. Working from home and need to be online nearly 100% of the time, to reconnect to work is real pain in the rear end and takes time.
I originally thought it was my router causing the problem but it is not, I connected directly to the Fizz box.... Wifi and lan cable both don't work.

Again the Internet dropped again at 3:30 pm another day. Took Fizz router 6 minutes to reconnect back to the network0

I have been with fizz for a few year now, and recently I have to power cycle the Fizz modem 2-3 times a day. Last year had Fizz replace the modem and installer was kind enough to redo the splice on the outside pole. Good signal to noise ratio. Now I am wondering why all these issues its getting worse every day.

I'm suprised that this is not a new issue and it seems to be not resolved yet. Losing patience after a few chat sessions and so fed up with it, my last resort was to go back with Videotron leaving all the perks and candies behind. I'm trying to advertise to my friends that everything is the same as Videotron except for the pricing and the hardware but it's not. Unfortunately, I suspect the Hitron modem/router has something to do with it especially for those opting for extreme hi-speed. Hopefully the issue seemed not to happen to those people i recommended but not opting for hi-speed.. So long for now, Fizz !

I don't really think it is the Fizz or Videotron equipment. I was with videotron 3 years ago and I was having the same issues. Then I switched to another FIBE provider and the service was excellent, never a connection drop. They didn't want to keep my promo offer so I came back to FIZZ.... Only good thing going here is the price and whatever perks are given0

Well here we go again. This time 3x times today the connection dropped 2 in the morning and 1 just right now at 4:41 PM... This is annoying. Checked to see if any service down reports and nothing. Took 3 or 4 minutes to reconnect again.0
