Do you see the VoLTE toggle on your phone?
Hi there:
With any other telecom company, when you are using a VoLTE compatible sim card, the VoLTE toggle becomes visible on the phone. With Android phones, one needs to go to settings, then mobile network, and it is found there. You can turn it on or off. This is how you know that your sim card is VoLTE compatible and this is how you know that you are using a VoLTE network. With my Galaxy S23 Ultra, I don't see the toggle with the Fizz VoLTE sim card. However, when I put a Fido VoLTE sim card on the same phone, the VoLTE toggle is there.
Does anyone see the VoLTE toggle on their phones after the activated the Fizz VoLTE sim card?
Thanks,

The toggle should be there when you are not making calls.
Can anyone see it?
Please do not rush to answer just to score points.

It was already discussed before, several users reported that it disappeared:

Ok, thanks, guys.
I do not follow the forum. I come here only when I have questions

As long as it still works, no need to worry about the toggle...

The reason why I asked is because it hasn't been working for me

Did you try to test it as describe in my previous posts?

I have a Rogers SIM card from work. I did some tests by putting Rogers SIM in my wife's phone. VoLTE toggle is present with Rogers SIM but when I put Fizz SIM it disappears. So as @Jess_i88b6 said, these settings (VoLTE toggle, etc) are coming from Fizz, not sure what's the point to hide it 🤷🏻.

I'm on Android 14 Beta 4 and I see it in:
Settings -> Network & internet -> SIMs -> Fizz
The setting is there and is toggled on, but is greyed out so I can't change it.

Do you have a Samsung phone?

Samsung A52 5G: I could see the VoLTE toggle switch a year ago, but it disappeared after some time and never came back. My phone migrated to VoLTE several weeks ago, but the VoLTE never showed up.
However, if you launch the Phone Info menu, you will see that the VoLTE Provisionned switch is ON

You need to type this #*#4636#*# (DON'T MODIFY ANY CONFIGURATION)

It doesn't work because the mis the * at the beginning and at the end

Where do you enter it? On the phone keypad and then you hit the call button on the keypad?
0 -
Yes, you dial it and click on the call button
*#*#4636#*#*

Whenever I do that, I am getting a pre-recorded message saying: ''This call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again ''

It doesn't work anymore on my S21, but is working on other no samsung phone :(

Exactly, not sure why Samsung decided to remove it.

I don't want to change the dialer, probably is the dialer that is blocking it

It works on my pixel, but I don't need to press the call button after dialing the code. It directly opens the menu

It works on Samsung A52 5G, but I have Developer options. Maybe that's the reason.
Then go to you phone keypad and type
*#*# 4636 #*#*

This didn't help either.

Hello @Kovid,
Thank you for describing your situation to us.
Galaxy S23 Ultra is a VoLTE-certified Fizz phone so you should be able to see the toggle. You can also verify that here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices.
I can see that our members provided you with many useful manipulations. If you tried all of them then still you cannot see the VoLTE toggle on your phone, then you need real-time assistance, so please use the chat bubble located in the lower right-hand corner of the Solution Hub pages. If you have trouble finding it, click on the following link (with an incognito window ctrl+shift+n), and the chat bubble will appear within 15-20 seconds: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-unable-log-my-fizz-account-what-do-i-do.
I hope you have a pleasant day!
