Which one is the most economical.ah as you go or an add on? Anything else cheaper?

    You can also buy a local SIM with a plan for around 10 euro, check ho mobile, illiad, very mobile, etc etc

    Depends on your needs. If you will not be using a lot of data/texts then "pay as you go" otherwise buy a "travel add-on".

    In most of the European countries mobile plans are way cheaper than year so if you are looking for the less expensive solution is way better to buy a sim from a local carrier. They will easily give you 50GB for less than 10 euros

    I think he meant like a portable modem working with a sim having just data so you can create a hotspot on the go... Otherwise, I have not idea...
