3 pts each gift, if you gift 500M or 5G you will get 3 pts, but you are better off to gift multiple of 500MB. This will give you more points and also they will count for the Hero badge

It doesn’t give much but when you get the donations badges, you get more points

Aim to badges which will give you more points! And as already suggested, better donate 500mb twice!
