What's a real scenario where an LTE smartwatch is needed?
Could someone provide some real scenarios where having an LTE smartwatch is actually useful.. it's a genuine question I swear!
I always have my smartphone with me so I don't really understand the point of having an LTE smartwatch. Tha battery is going to last less and you will spend more to have a sim card on the watch.
The only time I don't have my phone is when I do some sport (running for example) and as long as I can monitor my activity with my watch and I have offline access to some music I'm fine.
Please share your experience and point of view

The only time when I wear my watch and not my phone is when I go swimming. The only reasons that I can thing is for emergencies or for fitness activities, but even in those situations, I still tend to use my phone.
Therefore, I'm curious to know in what situations it is important to wear an LTE watch from other too.

Yeah there are some niche case scenarios but I would never spend more to buy the LTE version of a watch just for those situations. Let's wait some more answers from other users!

I have only one suggestion: stay away from Samsung galaxy watch series - it's trash and on top of that, their customers service is absolutely terrible.

After my terrible experience with samsung galaxy watch, i eliminated smart watches from usage. I decided to switch to my old and always reliable classic watch.

In general, I think that LTE watches are like a backup for your phone, like when your phone died or you forgot your phone in the car/ house/ work, etc.

I see it useful for the parents of children starting age 9-10. They don't need phone yet but in case of emergency they can text or call you and vice versa.
