Why did I get only 2$ refund after I paid the full month on February 28 and also cancelled the service on the same day - February 28?

Internet should refund prorata. What date you picked for the end of service? Moreover, the refund should be done 4-6 weeks after the return of the modem. Check this guide.

Good to know: Based on the date you unsubscribe, you will receive a prorated refund for the monthly fee you paid based on the days left, if any, in your payment cycle. Once your modem is returned, please allow (approximately) 4-6 weeks to receive your refund.

We’re sorry to see you go. As a friendly reminder, if this plan is the only one you have with Fizz, unsubscribing means you will lose your My Rewards points as well as referral bonuses you may have earned during your time with us.
To unsubscribe from your Home Internet plan, go under My plans > Manage plan > Unsubscribe and follow the on-screen steps. Don’t forget to note your return ID number for your Wi-Fi modem.

Don’t forget your modem

You have 15 days following the date you unsubscribe to return your Fizz Wi-Fi modem (and its power cable) to us. Failure to do so means you will be automatically charged the amount of $225, plus applicable taxes. If you are charged this amount but do end up sending us back the modem, then no worries, you will be automatically refunded.

Nous sommes désolés de vous voir partir. Rappelez-vous que si ce forfait est le seul que vous détenez avec Fizz, vous désabonner veut dire que vous perdrez vos points Mes récompenses ainsi que les primes de référence possiblement reçues durant votre temps avec nous.
Pour vous désabonner de votre forfait Internet résidentiel, allez sous Mes forfaits > Gérer mon forfait > Me désabonner et suivez les étapes à l’écran. N’oubliez pas de prendre en note le numéro de retour pour votre modem Wi-Fi.
N’oubliez pas votre modem
Vous disposez de 15 jours suivant la date de votre désabonnement pour nous retourner votre modem Wi-Fi Fizz (et son câble d’alimentation), sans quoi des frais de 225$ (plus les taxes applicables) vous seront automatiquement facturés. Si ces frais vous sont facturés, mais que vous nous retournez finalement le modem, bonne nouvelle: vous serez remboursé automatiquement.

Comment retourner mon modem Wi-Fi
Bon à savoir: selon la date à laquelle vous vous désabonnez, vous recevrez un remboursement au prorata des frais mensuels que vous avez payés, calculé en fonction du nombre de jours restants, le cas échéant, dans votre cycle de paiement. Une fois votre modem retourné, prévoyez (environ) 4 à 6 semaines avant de recevoir votre remboursement.
