Have to constantly reboot my modem up to three times a day

I recently did what people suggested and disabled the Wi-Fi from Fizz router and I purchased a GX 90 ax6600, the Wi-Fi is 100 times better, but I still have to reboot Fizz modem three times today, is there something wrong with the modem? How do I get a replacement? I don’t see what else it could be, as fizz modem is just bypassing Wi-Fi now to other router.

    Verifying your modem`s signals, we could see quite a hefty number of reboots on our side, so if you still have this issue, even without your own modem ( as our customer service advised you to test without it a few days ), kindly reach our support team once more :   https://fizz.ca/en/support so they can check what necessary steps can be taken. ( possibly even send a technician )

    it's on who has a problem my father was doing this with his tv the tv turned off 3. 4. 5. times a day he restarted the tv

  • So I have been having this problem for years and it’s getting worse and worse, after over an hour of chatting, they told me they can’t see any information because I disabled fizzWi-Fi doh… in order for them to get information I have to re-enable Fizz Wi-Fi. But this is been going on for years and I have called them for years with Fizz Wi-Fi enabled. It’s only recently I added GX 90 top of the line router. Although the Wi-Fi stability is great with GX 90 I still wake up every morning to no connection.

  • So now they want me to chat with them before rebooting my router, which was a first because normally as soon as I get on the chat, they want me to reboot right away it’s always the same bullshit runaround, all I want is to try a new router I am a loyal customer with four cell phones and Internet plan with them

  • If the Fizz router modem combo is just being bypassed to my GX 90 router and fizz is no longer the brain….what’s up.. if the Fizz router modem combo it’s not handling anything just sending signal to GX 90 router why does connection always go down

  • it's boring its a problem that we see almost once a week here and the world ends up leaving Fizz

    Check your Fizz modem Up time, if it's reboots frequently then it's a problem

    is it worming up your router ? i had long time ago an issue with a modem but not from fizz.....just an idea to make sure has fresh air around
