Is there a way to change my home Internet plan without waiting for the cycle to end?
After a week of waiting, I finally got my home internet connection today, yay.
I just set up the router and noticed that the 200/30 plan now costs the same as the 120/30 plan when I applied.
Of course I want 200/30 for the same money, is there any way to do that without waiting 31 days?

Short answer is No. But you can change it now and starting the next billing cycle it will be applied automatically.
To change your plan:
Go to My Plans in your Fizz account.
Scroll to the plan you wish to change.
Click on Manage and then Adjust your plan.

It is wrote that the plan modification will be applied only the next billing cycle
If you used a referral code, and subscribed after January 16th you will get 100$ otherwise 50$, not to bad
For 98% of the users 200Mbps are more than enough.
Please be adviced that you cannot modify your plan in the 108 hours before the new billing cycle.

Long answer.. No it can't.
You prepay for your service, so you have already paid for the service you are using now. So any changes will be effective at the start of the next billing period.
I also recently made a change to increase my internet service speed from the 120 to the 200 plan (since for me it was only $3 more, since I was paying $50/m). But I need to wait till Jan 13 for it to take effect. Oh well. C'est la vie.

Yeah. I'm just not used to the fact that in Canada, everything connected with the Internet is so hard.
By the way, I used your ref code for registration. Thanks.

Don't forget to post your referral too https://forum.fizz.ca/en/discussion/2198337/this-is-the-place-for-your-referral-codes-here-and-only-here and here https://forum.fizz.ca/fr/discussion/2198330/vos-codes-de-reference-c-est-ici-et-seulement-ici
You can have the opportunity to have a referral code and forget this limitation :)
Remember, you can post at most 2 times on each post per day

Not sure if you want to go through it all, but you could cancel your plan, get the prorated refund, then sign up for a new account and plan and use the referral code.
