Is there a voicemail recording time limit?
On average I spend 0-10 minutes on the phone monthly so I was thinking about changing my plan from unlimited calls to none and buying the 60 minute add-on each month.
My only concern is spam/bot calls. If these go to voicemail and they don't hang up, could one message take up the full 60 minutes or does the voicemail get disconnected after a specific amount of time?

Hi, it is mentioned here:
Without the Voicemail option added to your plan, the messaging service won’t answer any call.

I'm not sure that the voicemail time is part of your calls time. The calls time is the call that you made I think.

I didn't say I was removing voicemail so that doesn't answer my question,

I wonder if that changed? I just came back to Fizz but I know a few years ago that any time recorded to voicemail counted against your call time.

@ExtraByte , hum, interesting. I search on the web page and didn't find info about that yet.
Have you try to search in the history of the forum?

Sorry, I misread.
"Please note that starting November 4, 2019, the entire Canadian telecom industry will gradually implement universal call blocking in an attempt to prevent telephone fraud.
As a member of this industry, Fizz will be activating this feature for all its mobile service members.
Starting this November 4th, non-compliant numbers could therefore be blocked..

Yeah thats the post I recall reading back in 2020 so it could be different now. I'll try chatting with support to get a clarification if that is true or not now.

ok, I feel that they will help you more than us except if someone did have that kind of plan.

@ExtraByte This is a really good question, before the introduction of the visual voicemail you had to have minutes, that's probably changed now. Since you can select a plan that does not include any minutes and you can add the voicemail options. And you can use the app to access the voicemail.
Please when you find the answer, probably from the customer service, please let us know, I will follow this post!
