    Ohhh!

I think we have to make one thing clear here. We are users like you here. We help each other, it's the principle of Fizz. in these circumstances, the tone of your message, with capital letters, is not welcome. There is no one at your service here. It's mutual help.

Fizz is a 100% virtual service. If you decide to subscribe to it, you will have to learn to be patient! It's cheaper because people have to manage on their own and with tools like this forum. If you need to chat with support even before selecting your service and you already have these bad formulations, I have a feeling that Fizz is not for you. I will still answer your questions.

    1 - U/L only.

2 - No fee to cancel.

    3 - No activation fee.

    4 - Yes

    5 - Yes - 4 ports.

    6 - 2,4 and 5 ghz.

7 - No. It's the same price for evreyone. But, with the my rewards program, there are discounts quickly, in fact, from the second month, it is possible to apply a $1 discount.

8 - Normally, you should sort things out on your own. The answers to the questions you asked are all online, with easy access. You can still chat with support. But, think about it before subscribing with Fizz. I don't believe you are the target customer.

And, it's will not be faster then here...

To contact Fizz, go to: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/resolving-issues , at the bottom, there is a green bubble with a question mark, you can chat with support.

It's cable, it's the Vidéotron cable network (It's DOCSIS, coaxial cable).

Thank you olic. What about their trafic management policy. If I understood correctly that only affects upload speeds right? Not download speeds correct?

    Bonjour @Dalkamyr

You are right. Videotron's cable is quite limited in u/l. The bandwidth shared by all clients in a cell is quite limited in u/l, so, in rare cases, there may be a slowdown for users that use a lot of u/l to prevent the cell from saturating. But it's rare.

That DOESN'T answer my question. Here are my questions:

1.) fizz trafic policy? DOES IT AFFECT UPLOAD SPEEDS ONLY OR DOWNLOAD SPEEDS AS WELL? in other words will I get 200mbps download speeds? Or will fizz SLOW that 200 down with their trafic policy?

2.) what if I cancel my fizz services in say 9 months? Are there cancellation fees?

    3. If I SELF INSTALL are there any install/activation fees?

    4. Is the modem and router provided by fizz?

    5. Does the router have Ethernet OUT ports? How many?

    6. Does the router use 2.4ghz only or 5.0ghz antenas as well?

    7. Are there any promotions right now on the internet that come with a better price than 68$/month for 200mbps?

    8. Is there any way to chat or speak with a fizz rep directly? This forum method is super slow.... 😕
