Can I remove my data plan and still get data gifted to me?

If I adjust my plan to 0 data can I still get by bonus data and have friends gift me data?

    unfortunately not since to gift or receive data, your plan must include data from the get-go.

    However, I inadvertently forgot to mention that your upgrades are valid for 24 months, even if your plan does not contain data.

    You keep also your rolled over data for two (2) complete payment cycles even if you change your plan during that time, and even if that new plan has no data.

    I don't think some of these answers are true. I didn't sign up for any data, had the data that I received from progressing to different levels, and occasionally received extra data via rewards and friends. Worked perfectly for me

    i had removed my data plan last month and someone tried to gift me data and they were not able to. That is amazing that you were able to have someone gift you data. My 250 mb reward worked though. And data did get rolled over.

    All these statements and information are perfectly true, but also verifiable with the official sources that come from the Fizz guidelines, available on the platform itself.


    The only data you can get via other users when your plan does not contain any data at the bottom is the 1GB Perks, for example, courtesy of Fizz on certain occasions.

    Upgrades remain valid for a period of twenty-four (24) months after they were obtained.

    The validity is 24 months if you used'it or not.

    What do you get after the 24 months?

    Do you get more upgrades in that time frame?
