Waze issues on Fizz data
Hi
Today when I tried to use Waze for navigation, it says a variations of "Searching network" or "No Connection" or "No GPS - showing your approximate location" etc. I have turned Location Services on my iphone for Waze, cellular on (there's enough data in my plan). I had this problem going somewhere and also when I was trying to leave Laval heading back home.
I had shutdown my phone and tried again. It didn't work for heading to my destination but luckily I didn't get stuck too much on the detour for highway 13 and guided my destination okay. Also for my return home, it didn't work initially. Maybe it's because of parking garage structure? I tried again to shutdown my phone once I pulled over and away from that area and then it seemed to work again.
This is the first time that I'm experiencing this when using Waze with Fizz data. Has anyone had similar experience in the past? Why is this happening and what I can do to avoid it?

here's how to contact Fizz’s support team directly to inquire about that isue, they will be able to provide you advice as well as precise answers to prevent this from happening again.. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.
If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:

@Dapfizzer Sorry I can't open the chat (last option on the page https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services ) I've pause my blocker. What else to try?

Occasionally when the Chat is unavailable, wait a few moments and then try again to finally have access to the Chat then. Also, sometimes it is easier to access through the French version of Fizz’s siteweb.

This sounds more like a phone problem than a network, unless your were out of the covered zones (check Fizz coverage map) Ohterwise, check with your phone company onhow to resolve unseen network problems.

@brouleau21 coverage is fine. phone company is Fizz. It's an unlocked phone. It might be a one off thing. Thanks for replying.

@Dapfizzer Hmm with the French link it all works (opens up) except for the chatting. Improvements indeed. I'm using what'sapp (your previous reply) to chat/report issues. Thanks again.

I have a similar problem with Waze using different providers, when I losing the data connection during the usage
Closing the app and reoping solved my problem
Can you try to clean the Waze Cache
