I need to leave from the country I can keep the phone and leave from fizz.
What options do I have?
If you chose the financing option, your payments to PayBright will continue as usual. "Choosing to go with PayBright means paying your phone with simple automatic payments over a period that varies between 12 and 36 months depending on the model and your eligibility, with no hidden costs and no surprises."
If you purchased a discounted phone from Fizz, then the following clause applies to your purchase: "This limited-time offer consists of applying the promotional rebate indicated on the suggested retail price of the phone in question. The rebate is conditional on (i) maintaining for an uninterrupted period of 24 months a Fizz mobile plan that is already active at the time of the phone’s purchase or (ii) activating a Fizz mobile plan within 7 days of receiving the phone in question (for members who do not already have an active Fizz mobile plan) and maintaining it for 24 months. If either condition is not met, you will be required to refund the prorated portion of the promotional rebate corresponding to the number of months remaining in the initial 24-month term."
At most, you would have to pay back immediately =
$ discount received / 24 months x number of months remaining

I assume you are using PayBright to pay for you telephone. PayBright allows to pay everything pre-maturely without any penalties. This has to be handled with PayBright directly. You can log-into your profile on PayBright and manually pay the rest of your bill with your credit card or initiate a payment from your bank account. You do not need to contact Fizz for it. As soon as you have paid the full price you are good to go.
However, if you bought your phone at a discount via Fizz, then you will loose this discount and have to retro-actively pay the full price without the discount applied. The discount is always contingent on staying with Fizz for two years.
Hello @Dannixa , PayBright offers the option to pay the balance in full at any time and there should be a link/option wherever you check your outstanding balance.

Here is the info from Fizz if you received a promotional rebate (discount) on your phone purchase.
If a promotional rebate is offered on the phone you’re considering, remember that this rebate is conditional on you having an active Fizz mobile plan for an uninterrupted period of several months following the purchase date of that phone. Or, if you don’t already have a Fizz mobile plan, that you activate one within 7 days following the delivery of your phone and that you keep that plan active for an uninterrupted period of several months.
How many months does this uninterrupted period represent?
- If you bought your phone before 2021-05-27 include, this uninterrupted period totals 12 months.
- If you bought your phone after 2021-05-28, this uninterrupted period totals 24 months.
If you leave Fizz before the end of that period, we’ll for one be very sad to see you go. Two, you’ll have to refund the prorated portion of the promotional rebate corresponding to the number of months remaining on the initial term of this period. This amount will be invoiced using the payment method associated with your Fizz plan when you unsubscribe. The same billing method will be used if you had chosen to pay in monthly instalments with PayBright: no amount will be added to your agreement with PayBright.
