    Hi

    Such nice praise!

The ethernet cable also known as RJ45 network cable is used to connect your device to the Fizz modem in order for your device to connect online to the internet. There are up to 4 such ethernet input connections possible with the Fizz modem.

Sometimes there is one ethernet cable included with the modem package. If you do not have the ethernet cable, you can buy one at most electronic shops or online at Amazon (the cable costs less than $6).

ALTERNATIVELY if your device is wifi capable, you can connect to the internet using the SSID and password found on the label affixed behind the Fizz modem.

As mention, you can always contact Fizz customer service if you require further assistance - https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us

In fact, you need to connect the Ethernet cable (RJ45) that was provided to you by Fizz, from the modem to your computer if you have the possibility, it is preferable during the initial installation but not absolutely necessary. The modem, however, must be connected to the coaxial cable.

Here's how to directly contact Fizz’s customer service team for any question or for assistance in this situation, the Service will be able to provide you with advice as well as precise answers if necessary to ensure that your installation is optimal. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.

If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:

-By private message on Facebook/Messenger: https://facebook.com/fizzca.

-By private message on Twitter : https://mobile.twitter.com/fizz_ca

    -Whatsapp : (438) 393-5814

I was with transat Telecom and moved to fizz. I was always facing issues with connection and speed. I am so far very happy.
