    Hi @Timothy S. #1080

Someone in the sector of Ile Perrot mentioned issues as well earlier this morning.

I suggest you to chat with Fizz to know more.

    To chat:

    1. Go to a FAQ page e.g. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services
    2. Look bottom right for the big ❔ question mark in a green bubble.
    3. Click it, options will be displayed
    4. Choose "💬 Chat"
    5. Note: the bubble will only display the chat for a computer version. If you are on a cell phone, you must check "Desktop site" in your browser settings.
    6. Submit your question with possibly a relevant screenshot or modem photo
    7. After that will be displayed the number of customers preceding you, to manage your expectations. Updated real time.

The advantages of Fizz bubble tool are that it is 24/7 real-time with waiting time management and the ability to print (e.g. PDF) a copy of the conversation for your records. Sometimes you can even leave a comment about your satisfaction with the conversation.

Thank you Philemon, But when I go to the FAQ it’s saying that everything is working but it’s still not working at my home. I tried all the protocols that fizz asked you to check / do but it’s still not working.

Sorry it's not resolved as of yet.

That FAQ page I suggested is only to quickly get the bubble chat "❔" as the page is very simple so it loads faster, and it is easier to see it on mobile. And if we're lucky, it will show a relevant status but I guess it is only updated on major widespread issues. But it would be nice that is shows a customized relevant status to the one seeing it (after all, they know our account's address).

To better observe a widespread issue, I find downdetector to be a bit more accurate.

Right now the issue seems unresolved so you might have to plan something else, unfortunately.

    Hi @Timothy S. #1080

Unfortunately, the "status of our services" page on Fizz's website is kind of useless. Seems to be a static page and I have never seen it change to indicate any outages. Not even during the recent wind storms which affected a large number of users at the same time. Even Videotron does not have such a page online :(

Other than the site downdetector site mentioned above, he is another site which does the same:

    https://istheservicedowncanada.com/status/videotron

I use a combination of both sites. Site mentioned by other user has more comments from users, but the site I list here has a little more interactive map, that you can zoom in to see the various areas affected. The downdetector site used to have zoom option, but seems to e a hit&miss when it works.

Hope the issue is fixed soon for you.
