Pretty easy in a couple of steps.
The FAQ explains it in length https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-is-data-gifting-and-how-does-it-work but in short:
- Go to My Plans in your Fizz account.
- Scroll to the plan (if you have more than one in your account) that you want to gift from.
- Click Gift.
- On the next screen, choose Start gifting.
- Choose a contact or search for a new Fizz member who you want to gift to. This will open the gifting tool. *
- Select the amount of data you wish to gift and click Next.
- Customize a message to the recipient and click Send.

I'm new to Fizz - and already have a problem. And I'm on deadline for image-intensive work and I'm using up all my phone data with tethering. :( So I need more phone data because Fizz won't compensate me for the loss of unlimited data on my home cable account.
