Timing of VIP installation visit vs delivery of box

I am a new customer and I am moving in a new place, but not yet there. I scheduled an installation in a month ( end of december). I really wish the box would come with the installation service and not earlier, is that the case?

Otherwise I can't receive the box at that address in the meantime.

    The Modem will be brought to you, by the technician which will do the installation, so no worries there.

    They will bring the modem. Test the existing line (or add one if one is not there already - do you know ?), and they will activate the modem. Since you chose the VIP installation, they will also connect it to the point that your computers can connect (so I am assuming you will have your computer ready for the technician to be able to configure).
