enable data in the middle of billing cycle
Hello, I enabled the data plan in the middle of my billing cycle. I received email saying that it will become active in the next billing cycle on November 5th. Is there a way to start using the data earlier? Thanks.

Hi Roman,
there's the only way to add data to your plan untill your next billing cycle.
Add-Ons are active immediately. They’re valid until the end of your next payment cycle.
In other words, if there are 10 days left on your current payment cycle, your Add-On will be valid for approximately 40 days.
How do I buy an Add-On?
To buy an Add-On:
- Go to My Plans in your Fizz account.
- Here you’ll see a usage summary for all your Plans.
- Scroll to the Plan you are buying the Add-On for.
- Click Buy Add-On.
- Here you’ll see three options: Data, Calls/Text and International calls.
- Choose the type of Add-On you need and the desired amount.
- You can choose one Add-On per category (Data, Calls/Text, International calls).
- For international calls, enter the country you will visit and browse relevant Add-Ons.
- Choose your payment method, review your summary and click Submit.

As already mentioned in the previous post, the only option would be to buy and add-on as they become active immediately. Since you haven’t had data included in your plan, you cannot even use gift data. All changes with Fizz only become active in the next billing cycle.

I always try to get ahead of my data consumption and adjust accordingly for the upcoming month, and it's also very useful to have some good friends with fizz, so you guys can send data to each other if needed.
