SAME Amber Alert ALL DAY.

I keep receiving the SAME amber alert all day long!!! I called Apple they told me they couldn't do nothing to fix it. I tried turning the phone on and off: nothing. I have the latest software update. I'm in Canada so I cannot deactivate the Amber alerts on my phone please Help me... It's driving me crazy

    Yes, I’m in Montréal and have been having the same thing happen on my phone today as well. It’s very irritating!

    I'm from Montreal too! Yes very irritating... I tried to call Apple and they told me its most probably related to our service provider (Fizz). But Apple told me to switch from LTE to 3G (Settings- Cellular Data options- Voice & Data) that it could solve the problem. I've been trying it and it's been an 1-2 hour with no alert so hopefully it stays like that. I keep you updated

    Update: didn't work and still receiving the same Amber alert for the 20th time

  • Same thing here, tried rebooting, didn't help.

    Not the first time this is happening.

    Same here... not sure why tough. Maybe as long as it is active they send it every 12 hours or so?

    Would make sense for the purpose of it, but I don't think it's supposed to.
