DHCP reservation malfunctions since the last firmware update
Hi,
I am no longer able to assign fixed IPs to some of my devices since the last firmware update on the hitron modem. The new firmware is somehow able to assign fixed IPs to devices that are wired to the modem or to « 5G » devices. Devices listed as « 2.4GHz » are no longer accepted in the DHCP reservation menu. By accepted, I mean that manually entering them leads the MAC address box to turn red (and the modem does not accept the entry), or clicking the « add » button does nothing.
As a result, my LAN is dysfunctionnal: my home server cannot be found, nor my printer.
I am sure this firmware error will somehow be fixed in the future, but I gotta ask:
1- Is there any known workaround to build the DHCP reservation table?
2- Is it possible to downgrade to the previous firmware?
Best,
P-A

Hello Pier-André S.,
Thank you for reaching us.
I am sorry to hear about this situation.
We are currently aware of this situation but this will only be fixed once the new software version will be launched.
We do not have an estimated time for this but I can assure you our specialized team is working on it.
We have a workaround for some devices but for this, I recommend contacting our support team.
Have a lovely day,
