Sim Card not supported even though my carrier says Fizz 36.0.1

I recently bought a fizz sim card and plan, however when I inserted my sim card I'm faced with a popup that says "activation required" and then "sim card not supported". My phone is an iphone 6 and is on the newest ios possible. I would appreciate any help, thank you for your time.

    If you tried everything on https://fizz.ca/en/faq/your-phone-does-not-recognize-sim-card I suggest you hit on the little chat bubble (green "?" on the bottom right corner of the link I just sent you) to check with Fizz tech support.

    Before doing so, maybe try the Fizz SIM card in another phone to make sure your phone isn't the problem? And tried someone else SIM card in your phone?
