Authenticator drove data usage very high

I downloaded an authenticator for my zoho accounting software.It seems thta it drove my ata usage through the roof.(So I deleted the app)Now my system won't even allow me to use cell.I can only connect via wireless.
What can I do to fix the issue?
would appreciate any positive input
