I joined Fizz 25 days ago and paid the first monthly plan. When will I pay for the second month?
Will Fizz charge to my credit card automatically every month? Is it like Public mobile as a prepaid plan?

One month later , same calendar day. Make sure you have enough balance in your card.
Difference is:
Public mobile is every 30 days. Fizz is every month.
If one year has 365 days , public mobile will be 5 days more "expensive"😁

Both service, Mobile & Internet, will stick to their own anniversary day, monthly.

Usually the day you activate your plan becomes your renewal date. The payment is processed 48 hours before the renewal. Hope that helps :)

It will be the same Day as you subscribe , they will take the money automatically

Fizz will charge automatically from my card. What happened if I didn't have enough money at the time of renewal? Will my service be paused until I manually pay?
I remember that you can use voucher at PUBLIC or they give $2 if you subscribe with credit card…

Not only "paused", there are more consequences:
► Mobile plan, your SIM card and your telephone number (which could be assigned to another Fizz member) will be deactivated. Your Fizz subscription will be cancelled, and you will lose all of your rolled over data. Any funds left in your Fizz wallet will be reimbursed via the payment method associated to your Fizz account.
► Home Internet plan, your subscription will be deactivated and cancelled. The instructions to return your Fizz Wi-Fi modem will be sent to you, but also remain available in the My Account section of the website.
This process occurs automatically; you will receive automated reminders.

When is the payment for my next payment cycle taken?
At noon the day before. When failed then once between 10PM-Midnight.
Your plan is renewed at noon the day before the anniversary date📅 of your payment cycle. If your next cycle starts May 5, payment for that cycle will be taken on May 4 at noon. Source: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-payment-cycles-work
Only one last attempt will be made between 10 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on the day preceding your plan’s anniversary date to collect the amount due. If your payment fails once again, your plan will be deactivated, and you will be notified. Source: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-fix-payment-issue
Anniversary date📅
- Mobile : date on which you activate your SIM card
- Internet: date on which you receive the modem
- If it is on 31st, payment cycles will start on the last day of each month, whether it’s the 30, 31 (or even 28 for February)
- If your plan is suspended, the anniversary date is shifted to the day you reactivate it, making it a new anniversary date.

Fizz is faster, and has more features than public mobile. Its referral system is different as well.
Pros of public mobile : $2/month auto-pay bonus, national wide phone number choice. Better support team and faster response from Telus back office. PM has much better control on payment, you can pay extra with either voucher, or credit card directly.
Pros of Fizz: more features such as data gift, fast LTE speed. $25 one time referral bonus vs equal to 25 months public mobile referral. Fizz works in overseas as well, incoming text is always free in overseas. Worldwide Data add-on is available.
If you need fast speed and data gift features, go fizz.
