The page https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services is not showing a disruption albeit it would require a major one.
Are neighbors having the same trouble?
Some clients had their service cut lately due do unfortunate payments troubles on Fizz' side. To what it might appear it correlates with payment method updates like updating a credit card. If it coincides with your situation, it could be the cause of your issue. If so I'd encourage you to chat with Fizz.
In any case chatting with Fizz would not be in vain since they can
- verify if there is an incident or maintenance work carried out in your area affecting services
- check your account status
- check your modem status if it works within optimal parameters, if its signals are within functioning ranges and also its history (like recent signal fluctuations). They can check for package loss or broadcast congestion.

The map may not show if there's an outrage instantly, there could be some repairs going on, in such case videotron usually is aware of the problem.
Hopefully you have your internet service by now, if not see if your neighbours have videotron T.V.

A while ago, I've asked that question specifically during a chat about the requirement for that page to show something different. I've been told that it would required something major.

That is my understanding. Or said differently "the page is useful only for a widespread and very impactful issue". 🤷♂️
