I cannot connect to fizz network

My iPhone recognizes the fizz network but doesn’t connect. I have tried restarting reinstalling SIM card using a different device and airplane mode, nothing works. I keep getting “SIM not provisioned.”

    Known solutions for "SIM not provisioned"

    • install carrier settings updates
    • restart your phone
    • put your phone in airplane mode, wait for a few seconds, and turn it back
    • try another port or phone
    • re-insert sim 
    • clean sim card and sim ports
    • check if the sim is in activation or not
    • install carrier settings updates (including APN)
    • update phone' software
    • contact fizz

    Are you sure you plan is active ?

    Can you try the sim card in another cellphone ?

    Your iphone are not sim locked ?

    Hi Gordon,

    What IPhone model are you using? Is it locked with your old carrier? Maybye you will have to contact your old carrier to get a number to unlock your phone.

    Please make sure that the APN settings are correct. You can find detailed information here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-fizz-network-settings-apn

    However, you mentioned that you get an error message saying "SIM not provisioned" which indicates to me it is a sim problem. Especially because it doesn't work on another phone either. In that case please reach out to Fizz support. They will send you a new simcard and initiate a refund for the money paid.

    Alternatively you can purchase a simcard in person in a Couche Tard in Quebec (not Ottawa region).
