Can someone help me with my wifi extender?
I bought a Wifi extender that works just fine everywhere else except here at home with Fizz. I tried by pushing the front button of the modem, and manually open the wps in the cusadmin with no success. My appartement is small but the wifi can't reach the other rooms properly, and the walls aren't concrete or anything. Also, I had the 40 mgbs but changed for the 200 mbs and nothing really changed. It's a struggle to load 1080p videos and I don't even think to watch 4K.
So i don't know what to do, can someone come here and change the modem?

Unfortunately, to my knowledge, Fizz only uses 1 model of modem/router, the Hitron CODA-4680. I don't think they can change it. What's the model of your WIFI extender?

Usually wifi extender are pretty easy to use. What's the issue you're facing? Is the wifi extender able to connect to fizz wifi? From what I recall some wifi extender have a configuration page when you connect directly to them. Maybe configuring the wifi directly instead of relying on WPS could help. (That's just a guest though)
If you think the issue is the modem/router you can contact Fizz support team. I usually contact them through facebook messenger.9 -
For the change of your speed from 40 to 200 it will be effective on your next cycle and not immediatly.
For the extender do you have a picture or the model number ? It will be more easy to help if we know what extender you use
