I have a new phone, and new unactivated Fizz sim card. My contract with my current provider ends March 2nd. When should I transfer to Fizz?

    Hi Sylvie

You can do the day before or couple of days before the end of your contract, I will take some days as a buffer. The transfer should take 2 hours (for me was 15 minutes), remember your actual provider must be activated!!! Do not close it, the transfer will do everything for you.

Take this time to ask question if you have, like you did for the transfert. I did the same thing, I read the community for a week before transfer my number :D

Here the information how to sign up for Fizz mobile, please follow the instructions here: https://fizz.ca/en/how-it-works

You can read this guide too
    https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz

Once you have are ready, go here: https://fizz.ca/activation

You will need to have a valid credit card on hand: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-payment-methods-can-i-use

If you transfer your number, here are the instructions: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz

Otherwise, you can select a new phone number.

This is also a good time to join Fizz as they are giving 25$ bonus credit to new customers

If you need a referral code, there is a list here:

You can choose mine, both parties will receive the bonus credit once you have paid your second bill.

    Hi Sylvie,

You can switch to FIZZ at anytime. If you have no balance left with your actuel provider, you can switch to FIZZ today.
If a balance's left with your provider, I suggest to stay until March 2nd.

For now, If you come with FIZZ, you will have a 25$ credit.
If you want, I can share you my referral code and then both of us will receive 25$ credit.

    Have a nice day

You can transfer now if you want. Just check if you have a balance to pay if you had a contract and you were paying a phone with your previous provider.

Usually the transfer is done pretty quickly and doesn't take more than an hour. However, I would recommend to do it approx. 3 business days before your old contract ends. Just in case something goes wrong with the transfer you have some time left to sort it out. Welcome to Fizz :)
