Are you ever expanding coverage?
Where I live, I have zero service ever.
If I want to send a text, I have to go drive and with the lockdown I can't use it at all... Cause I can't drive after 8pm.
Bell, Koodo and all the other companies work here.
It's frustrating and I may have to find another service provider.

Hi Tadpole,
Fizz is a prepaid service, if you do not have money in your wallet, you will not pay
Roaming also meaning using Bell or Telus
But the 3 months rules still apply7

If you do not have coverage you can still use the phone with Fizz Ext (on roaming)
Howerever, you cannot use for more then 3 months
"We reserve the right to interrupt or block access to our network of partner providers Fizz EXT if you use your mobile service primarily on their networks for 3 consecutive payment cycles."

You can also contact customer support by chat

Well, I live here and I'm sick so I would be only using it on the non fizz networks...
If it's in roaming though, it will connect to an American tower and cost a billion dollars a second.
That's why I'm always in home mode.

As Mike explained roaming means also other Canadian providers. You can force the fizz ext manually7

Mine is not prepaid, I have a monthly plan.
I have no wallet with money in it for the phone.
I am debited a set amount monthly to pay for my service.7 -

Sorry you are having a bad experience with Fizz.
Fizz uses the same cell towers as Videotron. Are you sure there are no cell towers near your home? Take a look at this map of the cell tower locations: https://www.ertyu.org/steven_nikkel/cancellsites.html
So if there are none near your home, your only choice will be to switch provider.7 -

There's only one Bell tower anywhere near me.
Complete tower desert here.
It's 50km + to get to a tower, and I'm pretty sure the nearest Videotron one is way way further.
They said they had coverage here but they didn't have coverage in Lery which is like spitting distance from Montreal, across the river.
People that live in town forget how hard it is to get cellular service.
My internet with this plan didn't work in Montreal the other day though. So I don't know.0 -
Yeah I'm trying Telus.... Just the sim card has been on the mail for 10+ days while I'm paying for service.
