How to reduce jitter?

I'm trying to set up a cloud pc service so that I can play games on my potato of a laptop... I tested the connection and every aspect of it was fine except for the jitter, which clocked in at 42ms compared to a recommended maximum of 10ms. How do I reduce my jitter to below 10ms on my Fizz home wifi system?

Hi Andrew
are you sure that you have enough bandwidth?
The jitter can increase if you are using almost all your bandwidth
Can you try with your own router, therefore, setting the modem in bridge mode?

Hi Andrew,
With GeForce Now, I had better success selecting manually server endpoint rather than using automatic selection.
Reduced from 40ms to 15ms.
Hope this will help.7
