Can I get a basic modem (older model) when I sign up for Fizz internet or is there only 1 kind avail

There is only one model, therefore you can not pick a different one.
you can use it like a modem and connect your own router, if you want to have different functionality

All FIzz home internet customers use the same modem: Hitron model CODA-4680.
I have been using this modem for almost 2 years without any issue.
It does not have any motor or fan so it makes no noise and it consumes very little power.
But when you want to turn it off, you have to unplug it.

Select your plan and enter your address. If you are eligible, you can enter your payment information and select an installation date.
