Bad internet connection

Hi Karem
Sorry you are having internet issues.
Please unplug the modem from the power outlet and check if the coaxial cable is well screwed at both ends, preferably unscrew it completely from both sides, then plug it back in to make sure it is properly connected.
Does the problem occur only with WIFI or even when you connect directly to modem via Ethernet cable?
If the issue occurs with WIFI only, you may benefit from disabling auto channel selection in your modem admin settings, and selecting a specific channel. You can find which channel is least congested by using a smart phone and downloading a WiFi analyzer app, which will show you the channels of nearby devices.
To change the WIFI channel:
1- Go to http://192.168.0.1/login.htm
2- Enter username: cusadmin and your WIFI password
3- Menu "Wireless" >> "Basic Settings" >> 2.4 GHz and/or 5 GHz >> Wireless channel
4- Select a different channel (preferably one that no one else nearby is using).
If the problem continues, you can try factory reset of the modem by pressing and holding down the small button behind the modem for 10+ seconds with a sharp object like paper clip.
If there is no improvement, you can contact customer support by chat at any time 24/7:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.
3- Open a Fizz help page like this one: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/i-connected-my-device-using-network-cable-my-internet-connection-slow-how-do-i-fix-it
4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.11 -

Hi Karem,
I hope everything is back to normal this morning and that your internet is working fine.
After Fizzy's good advise, if it is still not working, you should contact Fizz support for help.7 -
Hi, karem
Have you tried to reset your Fizz modem?
With a sharp object, hold down 35,40 seconds the reset button back in the center of the modem, released it after.
Wait 2,3 minutes until you see all the lights from the modem coming back.
If your computer is directly connected with an ethernet câble, you'll see on the screen:
Easy Connect.
Types twice the factory password (back of the modem).
Your internet connexion is supposed to be 100%, functionnal.
You can do a speed test of your connexion.
Just reconnect all your devices to your wi-fi network withe the same factory password.
I hope this will resolve your internet connexion problem.
If nothing change, to get more help, please , contact the Fizz customer service by chat.5 -
Thank you all for your recommendations however non of them is work since the problem is from the source.
Google Internet speed test seems to be ok but internet stability test is not. And PS4 speed test is not so can't trust speed test at Google.
I can see the connectivity is jumping from one server to another.
Thank you2 -
Karem

Hi Karem,
I just checked from my end and I can see that you are using one too many devices on the Internet plan that you chose.
Please bear in mind that certain plans can only support so many devices and they are not the same, as you can see here:
https://fizz.ca/en/faq/which-speed-should-i-choose
In order to have a better connection, I'd recommend you upgrade your plan to a higher speed by placing a plan change order:
https://fizz.ca/en/faq/i-would-like-to-change-my-fizz-home-internet-plan-how-do-i-do-this
Thank you very much for your understanding.
Have a good one!
