Hello, I accidently forgot to add my friend's referral code when creating my account, I heard that you can cancel this plan and create another account and add their referral code, the thing is how do i cancel while keeping my old number and then transfer to the new fizz account?

If your number is already transferred to Fizz, then it may be too late.
The only way to keep it would be to transfer it out to another provider, before you can transfer it back in to Fizz.8 -

Really sorry you forgot, it happens quite often.
It is too late now unless you do as Fizzy suggested, transfer out to another provider (who would probably charge activation fees) and transfer back to Fizz afterwards.
You might still save a few $. Your decision to make.5 -
This is a real problem it's too late, I experienced the same problem, fizz does not help us with that the only answer from them was sory for me thats it. Your only option to keep your number is to change provider then Come back like fizzy explaned. If you cancell inside 15 days fizz reimburse you. In my case I did not try it, much trouble for few$ But I still mad about fizz on that issue.8

It's too late. Chnaging to another provider and then back will probably cost you some fees0
