Are gifted data taken from the ones that are the more close to expire?

If my data is about to expire in 2 days, I could just give it to a friend, and they would have it for 2-3 months? Or do they get the same amount of time that I had them left?

ChaoticFel Yes. You can gift any unused data when you’re near the end of your payment cycle. You can only gift data from your current payment cycle, and it must be gifted before your payment cycle ends (before your data rolls over). How do I know when my rolled over data will expire?
Each batch of rolled over data will expire after two (2) complete payment cycles, and this even if you change your plan.
To see when a Rollover will expire:
Go to My Plans in your Fizz account.
Under the plan you wish to view (if you have more than one) click on See Usage.

Hi ChaoticFel
Only mobile data from your current month's data plan can be gifted.
Mobile data that has already rolled over cannot be gifted. Rollover data will remain on your account until you consume it or it reaches the expiry date.
Otherwise we as customers could just gift data back and forth.8 -
You can only gift current period data, not rolled over data8

If they are going to expire you cannot gift them!
You can gift them only that one from you current month of your plan, not bonus/rewards6
