Hayley there is no more problem from Bell or another company. The number transfer is asked from Fizz and they managed it. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz12

Hi Hayley,
No, there will be no problem switching. Bell uses DSL and Fizz uses Cable internet. You can even have both services overlapping if you want to make sure that you have no downtime.
If you decide to sign up, use a referral code for a one time discount. I have mine posted here:

Hi Hayley,
Everything should be very easy. Just follow the instructions and don't forget to use a referral code to get a 40$ bonus.

Nope it's super easy. Fizz does all the work to cancel your old plan. It was all done less than an hour after i submitted12

hayley,
I think you are inquiring about the internet service ?
No problem there either.
Just activate your account on line, schedule your modem delivery date (with or without service) and once everything is installed, you cancel with Bell.
Hope this helps.

First you should verify if Fizz is available at your address. As a rule of thumb if Videotron is available, Fizz should be as well.
Create an account on fizz.ca, then choose a plan. At next step you'll be prompted to input your address. If it's available, you'll be able to complete your subscription by entering a credit card and scheduling an installation appointment. It can take a week or two due to high demand.11 -
Hi Hayley
The reason you are getting mixed replies is because you did not specify which service you are looking to switch. Whenever you are ready, it is straightforward to switch over to Fizz.
If you are interested in Fizz mobile, you can see the subscription and coverage area here:
https://fizz.ca/en/coverage. To subscribe, you must reside in the subscription area (either Quebec or greater Ottawa area).
If you are interested in Fizz home internet, you can go here to simulate a registration
https://fizz.ca/en/internet
Select your plan and enter your address. If you are eligible, you can enter your payment information and select an installation date.
If you are interested in both, that's even better.
BTW this is a good time to join Fizz as they are giving $40 bonus credit to new customers (until November 18th).
If you need a referral code, there is a list here:
https://community.fizz.ca/questions/2198337-place-referral-codes
You can choose mine or use the code of someone who has helped you.
To be transparent, both parties will receive the bonus credit once you have paid your second bill.12 -
should be ok if you check the availability of the service1
