Internet setup easy?

Hey there so Im getting Fizz in a couple weeks.(home Internet only).
I picked the solo setup anyone else tried it? Was it easy to do it alone? And how did it work with Covid and all? Thank you!

Hi Envangelia

If you already have a videotron coaxial cable, the tech will test it from outside, if you do not have it, contact the support in order to allocate more time to the tech for the installation.

The tech will deliver the modem, like a normal delivery and he will give you the time to configure it.

If you are a bit confortable with the technology the setup is easy follow the instructions given with the modem.

You need to screw the coaxial cable to the modem
Connect the power
Wait 15 minutes
Connect to the wifi with the Fizz App or a browser
Set the new wifi password

Hi,
Is very simple, just plug the cable and power on the modem, than connect with app (on wifi mobile) or with a browser (on a PC) to setup your wifi password.

Evangelia, I'll say it as well, the tech dropped off the modem and the setup was quick and easy. Just follow the steps on the modem packaging.

The setup was the simplest thing. To be honest, the longest step was the technician wiring the coax to the modem. Everything worked as described in the instructions.
