Internet speed??
I was wondering what internet speed/ plan will be best for me and my 3 roommates who all do online school and needs to have access to the fastest uninterrupted connection at all times. We probably will have 9-10 devices connected to the wifi. Our previous provider was videotron and we had issues with connection. We want to know which speed will really be working for us since we are taking exams and meetings with this internet.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hi Zeynep
Based on your number of devices and roommates, I would go with the highest speed 120 Mbps.
In case you didn't already know, Fizz uses the same cable lines as Videotron. What kind of issues were you having? What speed did you have with Videotron? If there was an issue with the coaxial cable wiring coming into your place, I would mention this to Fizz and ask for a possible replacement of the line.10 -
3 people should take the 120Mbps for sure. It's just 10$ difference and you get double the speed.11

Definitely 120Mbps9

Hi Zeynep,
Take a look at this to help choose your speed https://fizz.ca/en/faq/which-speed-should-i-choose
Fizz also uses the cable network for internet. If you choose Fizz, make sure the technician checks your line at installation. Hopefully they can verify the source of your problems with Vidéotron.8 -
You should take your online school seriously, so you should take the most serious speed which is 120 MBPS :P7

Zeynep,
I would recommand too without hesitation
the 120mbs/20 plan.8 -
With four people using the service at the same time, I would definitely recommend 120 MBPS speed. The couple dollar difference spread over 4 people is definitely worth it.10

Fizz uses the same infrastructure as Videotron, Was the issue/problem identified by videotron? they have faster speed than 120Mbs. but more expensive...9

Fizz = Videotron. Same company, same network. So, if you take the same speed you had with Videotron, you will have the same experience.
For 3 roomates doing online classes at the same time, I would suggest you to go for 120 mbps.
In my case, we are 4, I'm working from home, TV 100% online, 2 consoles, more than 20 devices, and 60 mbps suits my needs.6
