Apartment internet installation
Me and my roommate live in an apartment and had a scheduled appointment for the technician to come last Monday. We never got a call and then it said our appointment was missed so we were confused. We rescheduled for today Saturday from 12-5 and are scared that they won’t call and we’ll miss it again. Is there any way to guarantee if the technician should call because we have no other way of knowing if he’s arrived. We are very frustrated, since we need the wifi for classes...

The missing appointment message can mislead since it can also means that the technician did not have time to pass.
Sometime the technicien is calling sometime no, you can always put a note in your building door to ring a specific door8 -
There is no guarantee, even with other provider.

If possible keep an eye out for a Videotron truck or similar. Or someone carrying a green box. We got a call before hand. I think the technician couldn’t make it on Monday which is why you got your second appointment so close to the first.7
