How is the "best answer" picked ?

Hi!
It's the second time that the "best answer" is picked without me choosing it on a post I made. Is there a time limit before you can choose Yourself? Who picks it otherwise? Is it just randomly picked ?

Usually the Whizz close the post after couple of days
Sometime the user click on the wrong button too, the reply button is on their first post « Reply » , all the others are to select the best answer8 -

There is no official time limit. Only yourself (original poster) or Whizz (Fizz employee) can choose the best answer. Typically Whizz will choose the best answer within 3 days if it looks like your question has been answered.10 -
Sometimes it's just random, and sometimes people just don't like some users, so they don't pick them!7
