Email from Fizz saying "Welcome to the USA" but I was never in the USA.

I received an email from Fizz saying "Welcome to the USA" but I was never in the USA. I was vacationing near Gananoque Ontario in the 1000 Islands area which is very close to U.S. border but I was never in the USA. On top of that the US border is closed due to Covid19 so couldn't even have gone to the USA if I had wanted to. I hope I do not get charged for texting if Fizz connected my cell phone to a U.S. cell tower just because I was in a town in Ontario Canada near the American border?

That’s good to know. With my old provider we would have been charged with roaming. Thanks for asking this question.
