Hi Hannah
Does your phone say "No SIM?" If yes, then your phone is not detecting the SIM card. In this case, try your SIM card on another phone to see if it is a hardware issue. You can also try attaching a piece of tape onto back of SIM card to make a better fit in the tray of your phone.
Or does your phone say something else like "No service"?9 -
I had a friend that got this problem with the fizz sim card but not with his previous provider sim card. After some more check up, you might want to try ordering a new sim card. It might have been damaged.7

You should contact customer support for this issue. Maybe your card is defective.5

Can you provide the phone type? Confirm it is unlocked? What do you see when it stops working? How long does it stop working for? Do you do something to get it working again?
.
Do you see the following?
-When it stops working, do you see 'No Sim' or something similar where the network would normally be?
-Do you see emergency calls only or something similar on your lock screen when the issue happens?
.
Some common troubleshooting for these types of issues are to:
-Try the sim on different phone, if the issue doesn't persist then your previous phone may have an issue.
-Inspecting the gold contact on the sim card, do you see any big scratches or anomalies?
-Did you cutout the sim card to match the same size that your device supports? It may be that the card is not seated correctly and is moving inside your phone when you move around.5 -
It might be because of your phone. What is the model?3

Hi Hannah
That's very proactive of you in case there's an issue with the SIM card.
Before replacing it, I would suggest to try a SIM swap with another phone.
This can help determine whether the issue is with your phone or the SIM card.2 -
