why is my internet cutting out all the time ?

very disappointed ever since ai changed from Vidéotron to Fizz

Sorry to hear you are having internet problem.
Here are some troubleshooting guides from Fizz:
- if connected by ethernet cable:

If the problem persists, you can contact Fizz support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM everyday:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Open any of the Fizz FAQ help links listed above
3- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.7 -

Check the coaxial cable is properly connected to the router and the wall.
Restart the modem
If the problem persists, contact Fizz7 -
You might need to change for a.new modem/router. Contact fizz if needed, follow advice recieved from others!7

Have you ever reseted your modem?
It can solve your problem of connexion.
Insert a pin 35,40 seconds into the reset button located back in the center of the modem, released it after.
Wait 3,4 minutes to see all the lights coming back of your modem.
If you are directly connected to your modem with an eternet câble, you'll see on the screen:
Easy connect.
Types twice the factory password indicated back of your modem.
Your internet connexion is supposed to work perfectly.
You just have to reconnect all your devices to your wi-fi network.

Please contact the Fizz customer service by chat from 8h00 to 21h00.
First, connect you to your Fizz account.

Well, Fizz is owned by Videotron and use there network. My internet and many other is working great!
If you already restarted your modem and reseted it to factory default and still get problem? Contact support right away to change the modem. I mean the problem is just the modem, not the providers.

You may need to add your own router (or upgrade it) to have more stability and range1
