Many times during the day or night, for 10-15 minutes at a time, my 60/10 internet lowers considerably and becomes completely unstable. Does anyone have tips or tricks to maintain a constant connection without having to purchase a new router to hook up the Fizz modem? Thank you

Did you try to see if you have a problem only in WiFi or also with the network cable?
If you have problems with the WiFi we can try to change some configurations5 -
Yes, I have tried both methods to no avail4

Are you the only person using the Internet? what is happening when the instability is occurring? a teenager is downloading the latest film from this great torrent? or you half is watching this latest serie on Netflix in 4K . or since you are a sharing bandwidth with neighbours, it's possible that those examples arise there...
I hope you sort it all out...5 -
I have a feeling that it has something to do with the device you are using the internet on, and not the modem of Fizz, tbh5

Hello Alex,
Apologies for the encountered issue.
I have verified your modem's signals on my end and they appear to be within our functioning standards, but I also noticed a high amount of band switches which can overuse modem's memory and cause it to lose connection. I suggest to either log into the modem's interface or use the Fizz Wi-FI application to disable the band steering function and use only the 5Ghz band. For more details on the procedure and helpful tips, please take a look over:

Thank you for your understanding.
Have a good day.
