(Montreal) is it normal for internet to be down at this time?

It’s been a few hours since the downstream light has been blinking and no internet...
We have tried to the steps (unplugging modem, resetting modem)

    I think there an outage in your area! Wait at least 24 hours to let the technician repair the problem, if not resolved in 24 hours i suggest you to contact directly a fizz support rep by clicking the green chat bubble in your account dashboard or by facebook under the name fizz!
