Please explain how to disable access/login to my FIZZ modem from the WAN; I consider that this is a very serious security threat.

    Try to go here
    - Connect a device to your Fizz Wi-Fi modem with a network cable.
    - Open an Internet browser, and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar.
    - Identify yourself using these credentials:
    Username: cusadmin
    Password:

    Admin > Remote Management.

It's already disable and you can not enable it.

Normally, you can't connect to your router dashboard via an other internet link. If you want more security put a decent router after your modem and update it. If you prefer use an WRT and use some open source firmware on it. Use a strong password and if you are a freak turn off the wifi.
