To transfer my number, do I have to own number with 514 area code? What about 613 area codes?

Hello,
I am willing to join Fizz, but I want to make sure my phone number with 613 area code can be transferred without changing any digit. It looks like I am in coverage area (Ottawa).
Also, I have my own phone. So it's not connected with the provides. Do I still have to inform the Fizz about my IMEI while I am filling out my confirmation form?

You should be able to port any number as long as you are in Fizz's subscription area.1
