Is Modem on Rental or Given? How is support?
I am considering switching to Fizz so I want to know the cost they show, lets say the 60/10 unlimited $50, that includes a modem, so its just $50+tax?
Is it given to you or its on rental that you have to return when you cancel with Fizz?
Are there any hidden fees they sneak in? Rental fees?
If you cancel, do you have to ship back the modem? Do you pay shipping???

If you choose Fizz internet, The fizz modem is included in your plan (it's a free rental)..
He belongs to Fizz
and if you unsubscribe one day , you have to return it to Fizz.

Modem is a rental no extra fees. there is also no hidden fees everything is unlimited. videotron technician comes to setup your internet connection there is no fee for that if you want the technician to setup the modem for you it is a 30$ fee. but is very simple to setup the modem.
since there is no contract you can cancel any time no fees to return the modem12 -

The price for the plans includes the modem rental for free.
Fizz retains ownership of the modem and you must return it if cancelling the service.
The value of the modem is stated as $150 in the Service Agreement, which you must pay if you don't return it within 15 days of terminating your service, or if it is lost, stolen, broken, destroyed, or damaged.
For sending the modem back there is a procedure which involves printing a prepaid return shipping label from your account and mailing it back to Fizz, which means it comes at no cost to you.

Also the modem is a WIFI router which you can control with an app. You can bypass the router features to use only as a modem and use your own router if you wish.9

Modem is free of charge, but you need to return it if you unsubscribe. I always had very good service and great answers from the online service, but did not need to use it often since my internet and mobile plans are working great.
You don’t need to pay the 30$ fee to install the modem, it’s quite easy to do it yourself.Welcome to Fizz!9 -
