I have a Pixel 3 XL 1 year old. I restarted the phone, reinsert the SIM a few times, didn't check other settings. I'm coming from Rogers and didn't have this problem. Volume is low and not clear, people asking me to repeat what I said and I ask them the same on my end. I thought it could be the mic but then I called on whatsup over wifi and the voice is super clear.
Anything else I can check?7 -
I noticed this too ,1 year ago when I switched from Kodoo while using an LG G6.Call volume was lower then before.I switched the phone and I didn't have problems ever since. Unfortunately I don't have a Pixel 3 to try and I don't think is there anything else you can try to improve.7

Does it work well with other things? Like if you use an app to make a phone call? What about on speaker phone? I imagine that your phone is likely the issue.2

Maybe you could try to test the overall sound quality of your phone as well as the microphone quality to know what the source of the problem is2

I switched from Rogers 2 weeks ago and my phone was OK, If I call on WhatsUp speaker and mic is OK too. I switched my SIM to a Galaxy 7 and had the same result.
I ordered a new SIM card which supposed to show up on Monday. I'll try that maybe the SIM card is bad.
