I can't hotspot my laptop?

I can't hotspot my laptop from my phone. It works for everyone else except for me and my fizz friends.

Not quite sure what you mean. When we "hotspot" a device, it becomes like a wifi router and shares its existing internet connection. So I suspect that you meant the opposite "hotspot" my Fizz phone in order to share my Fizz data with my laptop.
Check you phones APN settings to be sure that all data connections are entered.
Could you tell use what specifically happens? You laptop cannot see your phone's SSID? Connects but says incorrect credentials? Etc

If you are talking of tethering check the APN in the specific the APN type must included DUN8

Normally it shouldnt be Fizz related but phone related. Or laptop related.6

If you phone works and hotspot doesn't work. Plug sim in other phone and try. If it works, it's not fizz problem. If still doesn't work, contact fizz support.1
