Why 4g is not working in India (after buying a travel add-on)?
The 4g logo is on but nothing actually loads.
Roaming is activated.
I restarted my phone (more than once).
The APN is correctly configures.
It worked when I was in Hong-Kong and Tokyo few weeks ago.
The network operator is IND airtel.
What should I do ?
Thanks

I believe that you did everything from your end, you need to contact the support
Fizz suggest to use a local SIM at this time
https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-travelling-outside-my-coverage-zone-what-are-my-roaming-options
If you are travelling, we recommend purchasing a local SIM card. This will give you access to better rates on data. Helpful tip: use messaging apps (whatsApp, Messenger...) to stay in touch on the road instead of calling and texting.
To contact the support you need to go to this page https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us, Fizz push you to find your solution, therefore, you need to search in the solution hub to your solution and only after 10 seconds that you are in a solution page Fizz will give you the chat bubble.
CHAT
- Go to this page https://fizz.ca/en/faq/resolving-issues, if you are not connect login
- The business hours: every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (EST).
- Wait 5 seconds for the bubble icon to appear at the bottom right of the browser and click on the icon to chat with support. Try a different browser if you have issues getting the bubble to appear.
If the chat bubble does not appear, this means that the number of sessions waiting for our answers surpasses our processing capacity. If that happens, send us a private message via Facebook Messenger or Twitter.
FACEBOOK
Your can also send a message via facebook messanger https://facebook.com/fizzca and click send a message (this is a bit slower)
CONTACT FORM
You can also fill a contact form from your account Once logged in, from the account panel go to My Profile → Contact Form (the subject are limited) and fill out the form and someone will email you back.

I did not try it in Asia, because across Europe in different countries I never got it to 4g/LTE, and 3g not good enough to make a quality call on skype, except in select areas of capital cities.
Now I currently in Asia too and i got local sim card, the speed are comparable to local in Canada. Just need to put in the fizz sim card sometimes to check sms - for that you do not need travel addon8 -
Alban,

What phone do you have and is it unlocked? Airtel India mainly uses TDD network where as in North America we use FDD. However Airtel India does also have FDD-LTE on band 1 in some areas. From your post it suggests that you’d be travelling between Delhi and Hyderabad where the FDD coverage does exist. For the sake of testing, would you try turning off the LTE and see if internet is working on 3G?6

As folks said , better to use a local sim card if it's possible, otherwise you need to contact them5

I used the travel add-on for Latin America. It worked well for me in 3 different cities: Bahamas, Costa Maya, Cozumel.
For the fourth city, I couldn't get data to work even if I manually selected the network. I tried 2G, 3G and LTE options.
It turned out that my phone does not support the frequencies used in Honduras. When I passed my Fizz SIM to one of our travel companions, he was able to access mobile data. So the travel add-on was working well.
