Plan changing option?
I am happy with Fizz, not only the price, but also the data rollover and gifts etc. I am lucky to enroll the stabilization price, and satisfied on the current plan. However, as we all know, we can not change the plan since Oct 14th. Otherwise, we will loss the stabilization price. It is okay for now, but things change rapidly: we may need to call friends in US; kids grow up and need more data; do not need some option due to the situation different ... I will appreciate if Fizz can give us an opportunity to change the plan once a year, or even two years. Or, let's say for level 5 clients (those clients are the Fizz royalty clients), have a chance to modify their plan once per year. If Fizz can do that, I believe someone will stay before switch. That is my thought.
Anyone agree with me, please yell here to let Fizz know.

Why not?Fizz was always open to new ideas and this one is a great one !:-)17

Don't worry about it.
The market is competitive and Fizz will make adjustments if other competitors follow its business model18 -
This is a good idea! Level 5 customer worked hard to get those points!10

Yes, what you propose is a great idea, especially for us :-) You have my vote.

Great idea, and it might even make business-sense to fizz. I would expand it to ubrella-in all pre-october customers.
It might be more cost effective for them to keep the profit from pre-october clients than increase their price and having a significant portion them leaving.18 -
Great idea, why not fizz?15

I'm confident that Fizz will evolve and we'll see changes sooner or later. As for now Fizz has lots of options which aren't available with other providers.
I suggest to add a customer survey option in the community hub. When a new improvement idea like this one appears, we can vote and Fizz will take the results into account.14 -
Really good idea! We need a Whizz right here right now!11

We can't change the plan if we want to keep the stabilization price but we can add upgrades or add-ons, like you said, to travel to US, e.g.
I guess the tight terms of the deal aren't a big issue for whom subscribed between April 12, 2019, AND October 16th, 2019 but understand that it can be hard for those subscribed before April 12.
Congratulations to the brave ones that endured and trusted Fizz throughout the worst of the stabilization period!

Fizz is very adaptable and will be quick to react to market trends.

Same feeling.
Enrolled in August - plan $25 included 2G data, unlimited text and calls within Canada.
Decided to add the International calls, so that I could call country of origin.
In the "friendly" FIZZ advertisements, I was left with the impression that the International calls will cost me $5 for 250 min monthly.
Well - the monthly plan jumped from $25 to $40.46 before tax.
So I think the office de protection du consommateur will have to do some of the "word of mouth" marketing.
Today I did the math - since I do not plan to use 250 minutes a month, it will be more comfortable to use my previous long-distance provider. But I can not change the plan back to the old, since it is a little more than 48 hours.
And I am curious - if for the "next bullying cycle" will I be able to go back to the original price, if I want to drop the International calls for $5/month.
Or I will be stuck, because the customer service people have specialized with Bell.
I can't even send an e-mail - has to be through social media.
Very disappointed.7 -
As someone who got in after April but before October, I will most likely leave Fizz if they change my current stabilization price to regular price in couple of months.
And yes, a once a year special "window" promotion where we can make modifications to our plans without any penalty incurring would be highly appreciated.5 -
FC,
It's a very good idea to be able changing something in our Fizz plan once a year. Or, your idea after the fifth level to do changes without loosing our special price. Reaching the fifth level in the Fizz community is difficult to get. I'm sure Fizz would find new tricks and ideas to satisfy and increase his members loyalty.2 -
Yes! would be nice.3

Great idea. Fizz can make it a "upgrade" for level 5 . Or using other approach to let user change plan once a year without losing stabilization price.2
